Leadership workshop for young women

Queens Leading Queens

Leadership at Mission Queens isn't a title — it's a practice. Through mentorship, workshops, and peer-to-peer learning, we nurture bold, self-aware, and community-centred young leaders ready to take on Ghana and the world.

Voices of Change

Hear From Our Queens.

Real stories from young women whose lives have been touched by Mission Queens Girl Up Ghana.

Anastasia

"It was slow, beautiful and intentional — like a seed finding its way through soil. I grew through conversations that opened my mind and a sisterhood that held me when I needed it most."

- Anastasia

Sandra

"MQGU challenged me to do things I initially dreaded. After one year, I was appointed Head of People and Culture. This is the place to grow, to be empowered, and to give back."

- Sandra

Annabel Dompey

"Being part of a club dedicated to uplifting the girl child affirmed that change is possible — and that I can be a living example of it."

- Annabel Dompey

Anastasia

"I helped organise STEM Boot Camps that quietly told girls: what society labels 'impossible' is often just unexplored potential. Seeing their faces light up — that is why we do this."

- Anastasia

Janet

"Advocacy is not about speaking louder — it is about speaking truth with evidence and empathy. Mission Queens taught me that, and I carry it everywhere."

- Janet

Vera

"I doubted myself when they asked me to lead. But the club's leaders saw potential in me that I could not see in myself. That changed everything."

- Vera

Janet

"When girls are given opportunities, they don't just rise — they lift entire communities with them. I am honoured to be part of that rise."

- Janet

Anastasia

"Five years ago I walked into a room and did not know I was walking into one of the defining moments of my life. This club did not just give me skills — it gave me a voice, a vision, and a village."

- Anastasia
