Mission Queens Girl Up Chapter

An official Girl Up Chapter

Our Story

Born From a Moment of Uncertainty

Five years ago, Jacinta R.A.D. Dzagli, a 20-year-old quantity surveying student from Ghana, dreamed of inspiring African girls to break barriers in male-dominated fields. In the midst of the 2020 global lockdown — a time of rising gender-based violence and school dropouts — her vision of a gender-sensitive industry evolved into a movement for survival and empowerment.

After discovering the Girl Up Virtual Leadership Summit, she moved from feeling helpless to taking action, rallying 7 friends to create a safe space that would eventually become Mission Queens Girl Up Ghana.

Today, what began as a moment of uncertainty has transformed into a national club that has empowered over 600 girls. Through our flagship Ghana Mobile STEM Bootcamp and our “I am her, She is me”philosophy, we are bridging the gender gap and redefining the “perfect queen” in every girl. With over 2,000 followers and the support of our members, we continue to prove that every girl can make the world a better place, regardless of her circumstances.
